as /etc/httpd/httpd.conf will tell you in
DocumentRoot “/Library/WebServer/Documents”
the Document Root under OS X is under /Library/WebServer/Documents.
Of course you need to enable the oddly named “Personal Web Sharing”
in the system preferences under network.
